BassTactix Alabama is a Christian-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth and adult fishing tournament trail. Founded in 2015, our mission is to provide a competitive, family-focused venue for young people and adults who share a passion for the sport of bass fishing.

In most youth sports, adults watch their children compete from the sidelines. BassTactix Alabama brings generations together on the water. Our program pairs young anglers with a coach, often a parent or family member, creating an opportunity for families to compete, learn, and grow together. One of the unique features of BassTactix Alabama is that coaches are also allowed to compete against other coaches during the tournament. This creates an exciting experience where both young anglers and adults have an opportunity to compete while sharing their love of the sport.

Our primary focus is the next generation of fishermen. Kindergarten through 12th-grade anglers compete for cash, prizes, and scholarships at BassTactix Alabama tournaments. Since our beginning, BassTactix Alabama has worked to equip young anglers with the knowledge, skills, confidence, and experience needed to become successful fishermen at the youth, collegiate, and adult levels.

BassTactix Alabama believes that developing young people goes beyond fishing. Our youth have opportunities to participate in community service projects and give back to the communities that support them. We also proudly host events honoring and showing appreciation for our military members, veterans, first responders, and the families who support them.

At the heart of BassTactix Alabama is our faith. BassTactix strives to set the example and provide opportunities for serving Jesus Christ by sharing love, talents, skills, and fellowship. Through fishing, competition, family, service, and fellowship, we strive to positively impact young people and help develop not only better anglers, but also better leaders, teammates, citizens, and followers of Christ.
